Unicorn Cards began back in 2003 as a small passion project in the beautiful Yorkshire village of Saltaire. What started as a love for trading card games soon grew into one of Europe’s top TCG retailers — now handling hundreds of daily orders and shipping cards to collectors and players across the globe.

The Struggle: Too Many Clicks, Too Little Time

Before Listock, our operations were mostly manual — and painfully slow. Printing hundreds of address labels took hours. Tracked orders meant typing every single line into Royal Mail’s system. Stock updates were a nightmare (it literally took 17 clicks to change one price). Oversells happened all the time, and combining multiple orders from the same customer was nearly impossible.

We tried every well-known ERP system on the market — expensive, complicated, and frustrating. Most cost thousands to set up and created more problems than they solved.
